December 4, 2013:
Honestly, I think I could be just as happy—if not more so—with no formal education at all, traveling the remote parts of the world with the love of my life, writing and photographing and worshiping and learning to cook and just living.
It's too late for that, though. I've already boarded the train that there's no getting off of. I'll have to find contentment in wherever it's going.
I have so many tests and quizzes next week that I'm starting to seriously question what the point of higher education really is. Why can't we live in a world where we just go to school and learn, not try to get a degree or anything, and not worry so much about the type of job we're going to get or the income we'll make or if we can afford the shiny new car?
Is that the source of happiness?
I'm starting to ask big questions. Questions like, What are you willing to sacrifice to continue on the path that you've chosen? and What can you and what can't you live without?
In other news, my Ctrl+A shortcut for Select All on Microsoft Word has been disabled and I need to know how to get it back. Does anyone know?
